Blog #2.7 Meet Zach Whiteman

Bio: Zachary Whiteman is a rising fourth year undergraduate student at the University of South Florida pursuing a Bachelor's degree of Biomedical Anthropology. His current interests include health equity volunteering and research, emergency medicine, wilderness medicine, and applied anthropology. His goal is to join the Peace Corps post graduation before going to graduate school.

Research team in 2023: Ethnographic and consultant to the life cycle assessment teams

Pre-Departure thoughts: I am currently finishing up a ten day intensive wilderness emergency medicine training in Portland Oregon. In the one week I have in between Oregon and Morocco, I will be relaxing and making sure I have all of my paperwork and logistics in order. I am packing as light as possible so I can bring back souvenirs. I am excited to experience Morocco, and ready to conduct research!
