Blog #2.10 Meet Abdellatif Hali

Abdellatif Hali

Bio: Abdellatif Hali is a graduate student majoring in Linguistics at the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences in Agadir. He is also the Students Ambassador at the International Conference on Education Quality. He is passionate about doing research in Applied Linguistics as he aspires to solve language related problems relevant to the context of ELT. His goal in the future is to hold a PhD degree in Linguistics and explore under-researched areas in the field of teaching in Morocco.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he has held various leadership positions and underwent rigorous social work as he is currently the Local Head of Marketing at AIESEC in Morocco. He derives a great sense of purpose from serving his local community and empowering young people to achieve their full potential.

Pre-program reflections: I am extremely excited to start my journey as a speaking partner in the Ethnographic Field School. This experience entails a lot of field work and interpretation which I am eager to learn the most from. I expect to discover various insights on the argan tree and on the procedures of collecting and analyzing the qualitative data. I cannot wait to meet the American students and start learning some Darija together!
